On November 20, the National Energy Administration (NEA) issued Notice to Conduct Biodiesel Application Pilot Demonstration Work, in an attempt to promote application of biodiesel, establish relevant policy systems, gradually generate demonstration and scale effects, etc.

Related demonstration work will be carried out in areas boasting biodiesel capacity or convenient to acquire biodiesel. Qualified pilot regions (or companies) will be prioritized in the aspect of manufacturing medium & long-term loans. The NEA will speed up the pace to bring biodiesel into CCER mechanism (China Certified Emission Reduction).
