The Ministry of Ecology and Environment and related departments recently issued Methane Emission Control Plan – an important step for China to tackle climate change and support global climate governance. The document calls for strengthening supervision on methane emissions without impacting energy security, food security, industrial chain/supply chain security, and people's life.
