Tianjin Finance Association recently issued group standard Transition Finance Guideline for Chemical Industry of Tianjin – the first Transition Finance guideline of the city as well as China’s first Transition Finance guideline designed to help chemical industry achieve low-carbon transformation.

The document details criteria to help financial institutions to identify transformation projects related to 10 key chemical areas, i.e., caustic soda, sodium carbonate, propylene, styrene, epoxy propane, industrial glacial acetic acid, polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene, synthetic ammonia and industrial sulphuric acid.
