Trying to help China’s carbon emissions reach a peak before 2030, the first batch of 25 pilot cities and 10 parks has been confirmed, as detailed in a list the National Development and Reform Commission issued recently. The 10 parks are Changzhi High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Chifeng High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Harbin Economic and Technological Development Zone, Suzhou Industrial Park, Nanjing Jiangning Economic and Technological Development Zone, Hefei High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Dezhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, Zhaoqing High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Xixian New Area and Kuqa Economic and Technological Development Zone.
