Four departments including the Ministry of Emergency Management, etc. jointly issued Catalogue of Hazardous Chemicals Under Special Control (First Edition), including four kinds of hazardous chemicals – explosive chemicals (e.g. potassium chlorate, sodium chlorate, etc.), toxic chemicals (including toxic gas, volatile toxic liquid and solid highly toxic chemicals), inflammable gas (e.g. liquefied petroleum gas, liquefied natural gas, etc.) and flammable liquid (e.g. gasoline including methanol gasoline and ethanol gasoline, etc.).

To supervise hazardous chemicals in the catalogue, the government will take a series of measures like establishing an information platform, setting stricter project examination & approval conditions, strengthening transportation management, etc.
