Inner Mongolia Rongxin Chemical has made a successful test run at its 400 kt/a coal-based monoethylene glycol (MEG) and 300 kt/a DMMN plant and achieved on-spec products. 

   The circular economy demonstration gasifier project is located in San Yuanliang Industrial Park of Dalate Qi in Ordos city of Inner Mongolia. It is a key project implemented in Ordos city for the acceleration of national modern coal chemical industry demonstration base. The project uses coal as feedstock, adopting the four-jet gasification technology of East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) to produce carbon monoxide and hydrogen used in monethylene glycol (MEG) production and syngas used for methanol synthesis.
