Eight parks were approved by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment to establish early warning systems to reduce environmental risks arising from poisonous and pernicious gas. They are Dalian Songmudao Chemical Industry Park, Panjin Fine Chemical Industry Development Zone, Yangzhou Chemical Industry Park, Fuzhou Jiangyin Gangcheng Economic Zone, Quanzhou Quangang Petrochemical Industrial Park, Quanhui Petrochemical Industrial Park, Changshou Economic and Technological Development Area, and Zhangzhou Gulei Port Economic Development Zone. To avoid environmental risks and deal with emergent environmental incidents, much more work needs to be done in information report, information disclosure, emergency monitoring, emergency training, emergency preparedness, etc.
