China BlueChem to Build Large Urea Project      

China BlueChemical Ltd. (China BlueChem, HK code: 3983), a leading nitrogenous fertilizer producer in China, recently established China BlueChem Hualu Shanxi Coal Chemical Co., Ltd in Xinzhou, Shanxi province.
    The newly established company will build 600 000 t/a synthetic ammonia, 1.0 million t/a large granular urea project.
    The project will be implemented in two phases.  With an investment of around RMB2.9 billion, the construction on the first phase 300 000 t/a synthetic ammonia and 520 000 t/a large granular urea is expected to be started in April 2010, and the first phase is scheduled to start up in 2012.
    In addition, the company will launch the second phase after startup of the first phase.
