Heshun Chemical Launches Large Urea Project      

On December 28th, 2009 Shanxi Yangmei Heshun Chemical Co., Ltd., jointly invested by Yangquan Coal Industry (Group) Co., Ltd., Jilin Longyuan Agricultural Production Means Group Co., Ltd. and Heshun Galaxy Chemical Co., Ltd., held a groundbreaking ceremony for the first phase (300 000 t/a) of the 1.0 million t/a urea project in Heshun county, Jinzhong of Shanxi province.  
   With an investment of RMB890 million, the first phase includes 300 000 t/a urea, 180 000 t/a synthetic ammonia and 30 000 t/a methanol, and is expected to go on stream in July 2011.
   After its completion, the sales revenue will be added by RMB556 million a year for the company.
