Fuhua Group Completes 50 000 T/A Glyphosate Production Line     

On December 20th, 2009 Sichuan Leshan Fuhua Group commenced the production of its 50 000 t/a glyphosate production line (glycine route) in Leshan, Sichuan province. The production line is a part of the second phase glyphosate project.
  With a total investment of around RMB1.2 billion, the second phase glyphosate project includes two 50 000 t/a production lines and matching facilities including 150 000 t/a phosphorus trichloride, 100 000 t/a dimethylphosphite and 200 000 t/a ion-membrane caustic soda.
  In addition, the equipment installation for the other 50 000 t/a glyphosate production line is expected to be conducted in the first quarter of 2010, and the production line is scheduled to go on stream in the fourth quarter of 2010.
  Fuhua Group is a large enterprise specialized in the production of glyphosate, and its capacity to make glyphosate has reached 70 000 t/a.
