Du Pont President Visits SAWS    

Luo Lin, Director of the State Administration of Work Safety recently met Charles O. Holliday, Chairman of the Board of Du Pont in Beijing. Luo appreciated that Du Pont has supported and taken care of China's work safety for a long time.
   Work safety and labor health is a global issue to be addressed, expressed Luo. Chinese government has always stressed on work safety through issuances of a serious safety legislations and regulations. China is in the stage of primary development, the base for work safety, however, is thin. Heavy accidents happened frequently. Impacted by the global finance turmoil, China is facing difficulties both in economy and work safety. Luo hopes Du Pont continues to help China in guaranteeing safety and controlling risk.
