Zhejiang Aisen Suffered Accident   

December 16th, 2008 - an explosion happened at the synthetic workshop of Zhejiang Aisen Pharmaceutical Company Limited. Toluene in the reaction exploded and caused a fire. No death or injury was reported.
    Zhejiang Aisen Pharmaceutical Company Limited, a subsidiary of Hengdian Group, was built in 1990 and has a workforce of 900 now. It mainly engaged in the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients such as cefixime, and intermediates. Toluene is used as raw materials in the company.
