First-Lot Innovative Enterprises     

To promote enterprise innovations, set up technology innovation systems and constantly improve the ability of independent innovation, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MST), the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) and the All China Federation of Trade Union (CFTU) have chosen 91 enterprises as the first-lot innovative enterprises in China. Oil/chemical and related enterprises covered in the directory include China National Petroleum Corporation, Shenhua Group Co., Ltd., Aluminum Corporation of China, China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation, China Biotechnology Group Corporation, Liaoning Oxiranchem Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Changjiu Agrochemical Co., Ltd., Yantai Wanhua Polyurethane Co., Ltd., Jinchuan Group Co., Ltd. and Ningxia Orient Tantalum Industry Co., Ltd.
   MST, SASAC and CFTU will continue to support innovative enterprises. China needs more enterprises to accelerate their growth on the road of innovative development and also needs a large group of enterprises with core technologies, intellectual property rights, famous product brands and strong international competitiveness, in order to make contributions to the transformation of the economic development mode and the faster development of the economy and the society.
