Brazil Reduces Antidumping Tax on Glyphosate     

Brazil has reduced the antidumping tax rate on all glyphosate varieties originated from China from 11.7% to 2.9%, effective February 2008 for one year.
   In August 2001, in response to an application of Monsanto of the United States, Brazil launched a dumping investigation into glyphosate originated from China. On February 12th, 2003 Brazil started to impose an antidumping tax of 35.8% on glyphosate originated from China for five years.
