HONEYWELL'S Field Device Manager

On July 12th, 2007 Honeywell (NYSE:HON) has received a Plant
Engineering magazine Product of the Year award for its Field
Device Manager solution. The magazine picked Field Device
Manager, a key component of Honeywell's plant asset management
portfolio, as the top product of 2006 in the maintenance software
category.
Field Device Manager, which is fully integrated with
Honeywell's a kind of Process Knowledge System (PKS) platform,
helps plant personnel spot malfunctioning devices within their
facilities more easily.
Honeywell recently announced the release of Field Device
Manager R301, the first system to support both the latest
Electronic Device Description Language (EDDL) and Field Device
Tool (FDT) with Device Type Manager (DTM) technologies without
the use of conversion tools or add-on devices.
