Weekly Report of Stock Performance

For the week (May 21st-25th), the index of Shanghai Stock market
and Shenzhen Stock market continued to go up by a weekly increase
of 3.71% and 4.80% respectively. All 92 companies majored in
chemical and concern industry enjoyed a stock price up. The
increase attempted to explain that the financial policies PBC
announced on May 15th did not matter with the stock. Maybe the
visit actions by Wu Yi, the high leader of central government
to the United States gave the public a positive imply.   
   In the list of high weekly increase rate, companies those
majored in manufacturing chemical fiber materials occupied most
of seats, even including Heibei Baoshuo that suffered a huge loss
in 2006.         
   Four companies were discontinued to be traded in the week of
May 21st-25th. Chongqing Titanium (SZ: 000515), top titanium
dioxide manufacturer of China, started on May 18th to receive
investigation by supervision organization due to the fierce
fluctuation of its stock price. The trade on stock of Guangdong
Kaiping (SZ: 000976) was stopped since April 28th, the company
majored in the manufacture of polyester fiber. Its majority
shareholder went into bankrupt and has been finding buyer
through public bidding. Cangzhou Dahua (SZ: 600230) was ordered
to freeze their stock because of the explosion happened in the
TDI unit. Cangzhou Chemical (SZ: 600722) is being investigated
with false debtor.
