INVISTA Utilizes Honeywell’s Diverse Technology Portfolio

Honeywell (NYSE:HON) recently announced an agreement with
INVISTA, one of the world’s largest integrated fibers and
polymers manufacturers. The new agreement will enable the
company to take advantage of Honeywell’s diverse solutions,
ranging from process and building automation controls to
security systems, to ensure plant reliability, safety and
efficiency, as well as provide a cost-effective means to upgrade
to the latest technologies.
INVISTA manufacturers some of the most recognized global
brands of fibers as well as chemicals used in everyday household
products. The company currently utilizes versions of
Honeywell’s TotalPlant (R) Solution (TPS) and Experion (R)
Process Knowledge System (PKS) platforms to control its
manufacturing processes. The agreement will allow INVISTA to
enhance plant processes through the latest state-of-the-art
process control and integration platforms, as well as determine
how and when to upgrade plant assets to the latest technology
so that optimize operational efficiency, maximize production
output and reduce the risk of operator errors.
