DOW Corning Showcases New Personal Care Solutions

Dow Corning displayed superior hair conditioning solutions,
skincare formulations with excellent sensory feel and new
delivery technologies in the "Personal Care Ingredients Asia"
(PCIA) exhibition opened on March 13th, 2007 in Guangzhou,
Guangdong province.
   During this international exhibition, Dow Corning has
focused its efforts on launching 10 kinds of raw silicone
materials resulting from its latest R&D endeavors, including
three kinds of new silicone for use in hair-care products; four
kinds of silicone elastomers for use in skin-care, make-up and
sun-proof products; three kinds of new emulsifiers; brand new
hair colorant treatment to restore a healthy hair feel and
appearance. Among these, the Dow Corning(R ) CE 1619 emulsion,
CB 9111 Fluid and AP 8087 amino silicone polymer, can be widely
used in shampoos and hair conditioners. The Dow Corning(R )9701
Cosmetic Powder, which belongs to the series of silicone
elastomers, can be easily dispersible when being used. The
powder can absorb sebum, cover up wrinkles and generate a
smoother, softer and well-nourished skin look.
    In addition to new products and novel technologies, Dow
Corning has offered new formulas and concepts, such as the new
rinse-off conditioner series formula, and an innovative "second
skin" concept formula.
