10 000 T/A Lysine Plant to Be Built
A demonstration project of 10 000 t/a L- lysine  is  to  be
constructed at Tuoketuo County in  Inner  Mongolia.   High
technologies including cosmic space mutation breeding  are
to be used in bacterial seed selection for high  L- lysine
yield. The project  has  a  total  investments  of  196. 8
million yuan, in which 145.12 million yuan  is  for  fixed
assets.  The  project  is  scheduled  to  be  complete  by
September 2000.
