20 000 T/A Propylene Oxide Unit
               Starts Production in Shandong
Shandong  Binhua  Group  has  used  the  new  filtra-  tion
technology from    the  United  States  and  the  advanced
biochemical treatment technology  by  deep- well  aeration
  developed  by  China  itself   to   solve   problems   in
environmental protection. The 20 000 t/a  propylene  oxide
unit has recently  completed  wet  commissioning  and  the
product it has produced is in conformity with the national
standard for superior class products.
  The project is designed by Binhua Group itself and has  a
total investment of 30 million yuan.  The  control  system
uses the field bus control technology from Smdr Instrument
Co. and fully-automatic proportioning is done to  all  raw
materials such as propylene and chlorine.
