11 000 T/A RT Project Start Construction in Anhui
The  11  000  t/a  RT  project  has  recently  started  con
-struction  in  Anhui  Tongling  Economic  &  Technological
Development Zone. The project is funded by Anhui  Tongling
Xinda Chemical Industrial Co., Ltd. with an investment  of
70 million yuan. It shows that a new breakthrough has been
made in the  research  of  rubber  antioxidant  production
process in China.
  Tongling Xinda Chemical Industrial Co., Ltd. is a private
high- tech  company  specialized  in  the  production  and
marketing of  dyestuff  intermediates.   The  company  has
recently developed the latest nitrobenzene process for  RT
production in collaboration  with  some  universities  and
research units.  The  process  has  passed  the  appraisal
conducted by Zhang Fuying,  senior engineer from  Tongling
Chemical Industrial Group and inventor of the new  process
for rubber  antioxidant  4010  production.   The  research
achievement  can  greatly  reduce  RT  cost.   It  can  be
extensively  used  in  tire  anti- oxidation  and  has  an
extremely promising prospect.
  The first phase of the project will be completed in March
2000. The output value can reach 230 million yuan and  the
profit can reach 14.32 million yuan at that time.
