Extra Fine Activated Zinc Oxide Starts Production
Extra  fine  activated  zinc  oxide  jointly  developed  by
Chengdu Huifeng Chemical Plant  and  China  University  of
Science and Technology has started production.
The product has the features of small  micro- crystal,   no
aggregation and spherical particle. Its  surface  area  is
therefore large and the activity is high. It has excellent
curing and reinforcing effects in rubber vulcanization and
can improve the ripping and abrasion resistance  of  tires
and other rubber products, but the consumption is only  30
- 60% of conventional zinc oxide. The product can  also  be
used in coatings, ceramics, latex,   electric  cables  and
paper-making.
