Sorbic Alcohol Project Start Construction
                   in Heilongjiang Shuangcheng
The  foundation  laying  has  been  launched   for  the  14
500 t/a sorbic alcohol project in Heilongjiang Hengda Fine
Chemical Co., Ltd. in Shuangcheng. The project is imported
by Shuangcheng Municipal Economic Commission and funded by
Hong Kong Hengxin International Co., Ltd. It has  a  total
investment of 140 million yuan and can produce 14 500 tons
of 70% sorbic  alcohol  and  5  000  tons  of  by- product
molasses a year.
