Cerium Acetate Project Being Constructed

Jiangsu Haiwei Group has recently  invested  19. 6  million
yuan in constructing a 400  t/a  cerium  acetate  project.
Cerium and neodymium are first separated from  other  rare
  earth  elements  by  repeated  extraction   and   reverse
extraction. Then cerium is converted and concentrated into
cerium acetate, neodymium is precipitated in  oxalic  acid
and calcinated into neodymium oxide, and other rare  earth
elements are made into lanthanum-enriched rare earth oxides.
The project can have a capacity of 400 t/a cerium acetate,
60 t/a neodymium oxide and 700 t/a  by- product  lanthanum
-enriched rare earth oxides and an annual sales  volume  of
50 million yuan.
