State-Class Membrane Commercialization Base Starts Full-Fledged Production in Tianjin

Tianjin Motimo Membrane Technology Co., Ltd. with a capacity of 1.0 million m2/t hollow fiber series products, the largest hollow fiber membrane production base located in Tianjin Development Zone, started full-fledged production on Sept. 22.      The project has a total investment of RMB120 million. It is a state-class membrane commercialization base project and also a major high-tech commercialization project in Tianjin. The project can produce 1.0 million m2 of membrane materials and 100 000 pieces of membrane modules and accomplish an output value of RMB150 million a year. When complete plants for sewage treatment, water purification and seawater desalination are considered, the total output value will reach around RMB2.0 billion. Besides, a rapid development of new material, chemical, environmental protection, electronic and biological pharmaceutical sectors can also be promoted.      During more than two decades after its founding, Tianjin Motimo Membrane Technology Co., Ltd. has devoted itself to the development, production and application research of hollow fiber membrane and undertaken the design and installation for membrane design, production and application projects. Various membrane materials, hollow fiber membrane modules and related equipment and units such as micro filtration membrane, ultra filtration membrane, reserve osmosis membrane, curtain membrane and tubular membrane for membrane biological reactors, biological ultra filtration units, water purification units, membrane-process fermentation liquor concentration and refining equipment and experimental membrane separation units have been extensively used in different sectors. What should be noted is that the continuous membrane filtration water treatment system developed by the company is specifically designed for the recycle of in-process water, the purification of drinking water, the pre-treatment of large reserve osmosis systems and some special separation processes. The system uses 10 state invention patents and utility model patents with intellectual property right owned by the company.
