Tianyuan Renovation Project Completed in Haolong

The ceremony for the completion of Tianyuan renovation project in Haolong Salt Chemical Co., Ltd. of CNSG (China National Salt Group) was held in Tianyuan Co., Ltd. located in Yexian, Henan province on Sept. 10.       Haolong Salt Chemical Co., Ltd. is one of the largest salt producers in China. Tianyuan project got the approval in 2003, laid the foundation stone on April 18, 2004 and started construction on Oct. 20, 2004. The first 600 000 t/a salt production line and matched facilities have a total investment of RMB220 million. The construction cycle was planned to be 18 months but only 10 months was used. Wet commissioning was completed on July 1, 2005. The second 600 000 t/a salt production line has a total investment of RMB130 million and a construction cycle of 10 months. The second production line will be completed in the first half of 2006. The total investment will reach RMB900 million, the capacity will reach 1.6 million t/a and the output value will reach more than RMB600 million at that time.
