No. 2 Polymer Plant Renovation Project in Daqing

No. 2 Polymer Plant renovation project in Daqing Refining and Chemical Co., Ltd. has come to the execution stage. After the completion of the project, the polyacrylamide capacity in the company can reach 91 000 t/a and meet the needs in the tertiary oil recovery in Daqing Oilfield.      With the development of the tertiary oil recovery technology in the oilfield, the demand of polymers with great salt resistance and high molecular weight has kept increasing. The project is intended to conduct renovation to 11# production line of No. 2 Polymer Plant so that polymers with great salt resistance can be produced and the product structure can become more rational.     After the renovation, the polyacrylamide capacity in No. 2 Polymer Plant can reach 21 000 t/a.
