Two Projects in Sanyou Group Start Production

The first-phase caustic soda system of the 300 000 t/a caustic soda and 300 000 t/a PVC project in Tangshan Alkali Chloride Co., Ltd. of Tangshan Sanyou Group has made successful trial production.    The project has a total investment of RMB1.9 billion and the investment in the first phase is RMB680 million. The project adopts ion-membrane production process and key equipment such as electrolytic cells is introduced from abroad. After the startup of the caustic soda system, the monomer and polymer production will be launched. After the completion of the project, the sales revenue will be RMB680 million and the profit will be RMB160 million a year.      Tangshan Sanyou Group is the second largest soda ash producer in China. It is located in Hebei Province in the north of China.
