15 000 T/A Corn Alcohol Project in Inner Mongolia

The 15 000 t/a corn alcohol project funded by Inner Mongolia Wushen Jianzhong Local Product Development Co., Ltd. has recently started construction in Henan town Wushen banner, Inner Mongolia. The project has a total investment of RMB19.75 million and can produce 15 000 tons of corn alcohol and 13 000 tons of byproduct feed a year.     The project takes corn as raw material and uses physical, chemical and fermentation technologies methods to process corn into alcohol. Such alcohol has advantages that can not be replaced by synthetic alcohol in food, beverage and pharmaceutical sectors. The project will be completed and put on stream within 2005.
