RTP Company Builds New China Plant

RTP Company, a global leader in specialty compounds, announces it will open a manufacturing facility - RTP Company (Suzhou) Ltd. in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, eastern China during the fourth quarter of 2005. The new operation, located in the Suzhou Industrial Park, will offer a full array of thermoplastic manufacturing capabilities and serve a multitude of markets including electronics, automotive, and consumer goods. The Suzhou facility is essential to the continuous growth of their Asian customer base.    RTP Company began its Asian expansion efforts in 2002 when it opened a Singapore facility. The Suzhou site, like the other RTP Company facilities, will offer a full complement of customer support, including customer service, product development, and technical service, as well as state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities. RTP Company, headquartered in Winona, Minnesota, has seven manufacturing plants on three continents, plus sales representatives throughout North America, Europe, and Asia/Pacific. RTP Company’s engineers develop customized thermoplastic compounds in over 60 different engineering resin systems for applications requiring color, conductive, flame retardant, high temperature, shielding, structural, and wear resistant properties.
