10 Million Pcs/A Radial Tire Project Launched in Guangzhou

The 10 million pcs/a radial tire project with a total investment of RMB2.3 billion and an area of 73 hectares was launched in Guangzhou Wanli Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. on July 29. The first-phase 2.0 million pcs/a semi-steel radial tire unit with an investment of RMB1.1 billion will start production at the end of 2006. 60% of products will be exported to the Middle East, America and Europe. It is expected that the capacity of the project can reach 5.0 million pcs/a in around 3 years.
