The European Commission recently decided to impose six-month provisional anti-dumping duties on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) originating from China, with duty rates ranging from 6.6% to 24.2% – a preliminary decision of an anti-dumping investigation, which involves dumping that allegedly occurred from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022 and industry injury that allegedly occurred from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2022.
