MOC conducts styrene related expiry review

On June 23, 2023, the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) conducted an expiry review on five-year anti-dumping measures against styrene originating from South Korea, Taiwan of China and the US. During the investigation period – which should finish before June 23, 2024 – the abovementioned measures beginning June 23, 2018, are continued, with rates of 6.2% for Hanwha Total Petrochemical Co., Ltd. and Yeochun NCC Co., Ltd., 6.6% for LG Chem, Ltd. and SK Global Chemical Co., Ltd., and 7.5% for LOTTE Chemical Corporation and other companies of South Korea; 3.8% for Formosa Chemicals & Fibre Corporation and 4.2% for other firms of Taiwan region; 13.7% for Westlake Styrene LLC, 13.9% for Lyondell Chemical Company, INEOS Styrolution America LLC and Americas Styrenics LLC, and 55.7% for other enterprises of the US.
