On February 7, the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued a notice on combating against NCP (novel coronavirus pneumonia), supporting foreign investment projects, and helping foreign firms resume normal operation (especially producers of protective products like medical protective clothing, masks and goggles).
While facilitating signing of major foreign investment projects, local commercial departments are to support projects under construction via optimizing online services and coordinating with other departments to prevent problems in aspects of land, labor, water, electricity, etc.
Ways of attracting foreign investment are to be innovated, adopting online negotiation, videoconferencing and online signing more frequently. Further, local commercial departments are to implement the foreign investment information reporting system and improve the environment for foreign investment continually.
