Zhejiang Dushan Energy, part of Xinfengming Group has achieved a successful start-up at its new 2.2-million-ton purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plant, with Wison Engineering undertaking the whole-plant design.  

   The project adopts the latest PTA production technology and patent equipment of BP, which can reduce the discharge of 95% solid wastes, 65% greenhouse gases and 75% waste water as compared to traditional processes. 

   Wison Engineering has made an alliance with BP to introduce the first PTA project into China after BP was granted the patent. The start-up of the project marks that Wison Engineering has become the world’s first engineering company that applies BP’s 2.2-million-ton PTA process.
