Gansu Jingyuan Coal Industry and Electricity Power Co., Ltd. plans to invest RMB5.157 billion to construct a clean and efficient coal-to-gas comprehensive utilization project at Yindong Industrial Park in Baiyin High-Tech Zone.

   The energy-saving report of the project has been reviewed and approved by provincial-level experts of Gansu. The project will be implemented in two phases. The first phase will be put into construction by the end of 2019 and go into production by the end of 2021.      

   The second phase will have a construction period of two years. Upon completion, the project will converse around 1.80 million tons of raw coal annually and will have production capacities of 700 kt/a urea, 100 kt/a methanol, 216 million Nm3 (CO + H2), 60 kt/a melamine, 50 kt/a urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) solution, and 50 kt/a food grade liquid CO2, as well as liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon and catalysts.
