Xinhai Petrochemical has successfully started up its 1-million-ton continuous reforming project, which has a total investment of RMB2 billion. Investment on main equipment is RMB1.404 billion, including the construction of 1.2-million-ton naphtha prehydrogenation unit, 1-million-ton continuous reforming unit, 450-kt aromatic hydrocarbon extraction unit, 270-kt light hydrocarbon isomerization unit, 50 000 Nm3/h PSA equipment and supporting storage and transportation construction, as well as public works. The main project will adopt French Axens and US Honeywell UOP technology packages.
