China’s Zhejiang Hengyi Petrochemical recently announced that its participating stock company Zhejiang Yisheng New Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Yisheng New Materials”) plans to invest RMB6.731 billion in a six-million-ton PTA project. The project will be implemented in two phases. 

   The project will be built in Ningbo Petrochemical Economic Development Zone in Zhejiang Province, with a planned area of around 362.6 mu. The project uses Yisheng New Materials’ own technology. Apart from two PTA plants, with capacities totalling 6 000 kt/a, other supporting facilities, including rainwater testing pools, power substations, water reuse facilities and sewage treatment plants will be built to make full use of the public works in the development zone.
