The Ministry of Ecology and Environment issued Action Plan to Reduce Air Pollution in Autumn and Winter 2019-2020 (Exposure Draft). In detail, from October 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020, special emission limits apply to air pollutants from industries like petrochemicals and chemicals, and from industrial boilers. Further, industries such as steel and coking are to reduce or suspend production, and this involves Beijing, Tianjin and the other 26 cities.
