On February 21, Henan issued Implementation Guidelines on Green Upgrading of Key Industry Chains 2024, setting forth clear goals and ways for 28 key industry chains involving superhard materials, advanced aluminium-base materials, new chemical materials, etc.

According to the document, the number of leading enterprises in energy and water efficiency will exceed 20, and that of new digital energy and carbon management centers will top 30, by 2024. Other goals mainly include increasing the number of green factories and green supply chain management firms, etc.
